Mushrooms and Tomatoes Baked in Wine from Patmos

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds mushrooms of your choice, washed and dried with a paper towel
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp salt, and then to taste
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Place mushrooms in a baking pan.
  • Add olive oil, wine salt and oregano. Mix well with your hands. Place slices of tomatoes on top of mushrooms.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Salt, to taste.
