Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs broccoli
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1/2 cup grated pecorino romano cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  •  Prep broccoli: Cut the broccoli into florets. Peel the stems and slice them into 1/4-inch thick coins.
  •  Toss and season: Place broccoli on a sheet pan and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  •  Roast: Roast for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are browned and the broccoli is tender when pierced with a fork.
  •  Add lemon and cheese: Drizzle with lemon juice and toss. Sprinkle Pecorino cheese on top and serve warm.
