The Southern Region of the Peloponnese offers the perfect climate for producing the highest quality Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil, where Momalis is made. This climate is so ideal, that when visiting Kalamata, you can see the leaves glisten in the wind and smell the olive oil in the air. The sweet climate of the region, the ideal altitude of 400 meters and the calcareous terrain are particularly favorable for the cultivation of the olive.
Momalis is produced at a family estate called Nikolopoulos, that has been harvesting high quality olive oil since 1960. They have won multiple awards for their quality olive oil. In 2020 and 2019 gold medal at the London olive oil competition.
Stavros used to be a pharmacist, but after years of treating the symptoms of his patients, he decided to go back to his home village of Messinia to take over the family olive groves. He now prevents health issues by producing high quality natural extra virgin olive oil, packed with nutrients, amino acids and antioxidants.
