Creamed Pearl Onions & Peas

Try this delicious Mediterranean take on traditional creamed pearl onions and peas!

A fresh & healthy alternative to the classic dish.  This recipe also takes about half the time and looks twice as good.

Za’atar is a typical Middle Eastern spice mix.  It consists of 2 parts thyme, 2 parts ground sumac, 1 part sesame seeds, & 1 part salt.  You can certainly find it in specialty stores, but is very easy to make yourself.  Sprinkle it on grilled meats, fish, & citrusy salads.
