I love the fact that this sweet, thick, fruity shake is also an anti-inflammatory packed with anti-oxidants and all the nutrients you need for a filling, nutritious breakfast. It is a super easy Mediterranean Diet breakfast recipe that I can make in minutes and carry with me when I’m in a hurry. When my wife and I make this at home we use frozen organic strawberries that we picked ourselves during the height of strawberry season. I like to use whole fat Greek yogurt both for the “fill me up” factor and because it’s what they would use in Greece. If you want more protein add a teaspoon of almond butter. The turmeric and ginger add a delicious, anti-inflammatory zing to an already healthy drink. Enjoy!
